The restaurant is named in honor of the famous Georgian Tsarina Tamar. The guests of the restaurant can see her portrait made in batik style right at the entry.

The interior of the restaurant recreates romantic and stately atmosphere of the ancient Georgia. There is a vaulted stone ceiling; lancet windows set in bays, portraits of famous Georgian knights, heavy red curtains and golden table-cloths. The restaurant features two halls split by a stream with a small bridge. In the second hall there is a cozy bar, a fireplace, the walls are decorated with antiquarian Georgian sabers. The restaurant also has a VIP-hall and VIP-cabins.

The menu provides a good selection of traditional Georgian dishes. Among appetizers hominy should be mentioned, among the soups kharcho and khashi stand out, among the hot dishes khinkali, veal kharcho with nuts and naturally shashlik and kebab are especially popular. The menu is complemented with various desserts of Georgian and European cuisines. All dishes are served on labeled earthenware crockery. The wine carte offers a great choice of best Italian, French and Georgian wines, including collection Georgian wines in jugs.

Every evening the Tsarina Tamar Restaurant holds concerts of well-known Georgian artists and legendary Opera ensemble. Besides, the restaurant houses the permanent exposition of designer Elena Pelevina.

Free guarded parking is available for the guests of the restaurant.
