The menu of the restaurant contains various salads, pickles, salted foods, vegetable, fish and meat appetizers, soups, hot courses made of fish and meat, and various desserts. Among the most popular dishes are liver pastes prepared according to original recipes, salted red fish, boiled buckwheat with cracklings, beef tongue boiled with herbs, and other unusual dishes. The employers of the restaurant are very exact about observing the rules of food preparation and serving.

The Shagall Restaurant consists of the three halls, which are the Parlor Room, the Study Room, and the Summer Terrace. The interiors of the rooms are designed to create home-like atmosphere of coziness and privacy. The halls are decorated with objects and souvenirs related to Jewish culture. The Parlor features white piano, the businesslike atmosphere of the Study is emphasized by the antique bank clock, and on the Terrace the guests can see such objects as the ancient phonograph or the Zinger sewing machine. The guests of the restaurant are entertained by classic melodies performed by a fiddler.
